Dr. Karen Arca-Contreras, DNP, RN-BC Associate Professor of Nursing and Success Coaching Program Coordinator and Dr. Randella Sasa, Assistant Director of Nursing Programs and Associate Professor from Bronx Community College and will speak about the migration of Filipino nurses to the United States.

The Filipino nurses is one of the most significant examples of skilled labor migration in the world. For more than a century, Filipino nurses have played a vital role in strengthening the U.S. healthcare system while contributing to the economic well-being of their families and communities in the Philippines. They work in specialties such as critical care, emergency medicine, intensive care, and public health organizations. Come to learn more about their contribution in detail.
